Stålberg ranks fourth in the country in goals (24) and his 45 points lead the team … Named a Hockey East First-Team All-Star, runner-up for Hockey East Player of the Year, College Hockey News National First-Team and was named to the NCAA East Regional All-Tournament Team as he helped lead Vermont to the 2009 Frozen Four … Ranked first in Hockey East in goals (19) and third in points (34) in 27 league games in the regular season … Had nine goals and 16 points in nine meetings with the other NCAA Tournament teams in Hockey East (Boston U., Northeastern and New Hampshire) … Finished a plus-13 in Hockey East play … Named the Hockey East Player of the Week on two occasions (Nov. 24) and (Jan. 19) ... Stålberg played for the Frölunda Indians in Sweden in 2005-06 … In 48 games during the regular season and playoffs, he led his team in scoring with 33 goals and 31 assists for 64 points along with a plus-34 rating ... Stålberg finished the regular season with the following ranks in the Sodra South Division: first in game-winning goals, second in goals, second in plus-minus, third in assists and third in points … In addition, his team went 26-10-5 during the season before eventually losing in the championship round of the “Slutspel” or playoffs … Was drafted in the sixth round (161) overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
